what it is

blue.txt is a single feed for official world of warcraft communications — patch notes, blue posts, hotfixes, ptr updates, maintenance windows, dungeon and raid tuning, guides, and more. pulled from official blizzard channels and surfaced without the noise.

why it exists

official wow updates are scattered across forums, news posts, social feeds, and in-game notices. missing something means checking five different places. blue.txt collects the signal so you don't have to.

the addon

there's also a companion addon that brings blue.txt intel directly into the game client. no alt-tabbing. see the addon page for details.

what it is not

not affiliated with blizzard entertainment. not a fan site with takes. ad-free and reader-supported via an optional tip jar. all content links back to the original source.
